Carnegie Wave Energy UK (CWE UK)

CWE UK, a wholly owned subsidiary of Carnegie Wave Energy Limited, is focussed on demonstrating and commercialising the CETO wave energy technology in the UK. It has a number of collaborative ventures with industry and secure a berth at Cornwall’s Wavehub test facility for a pre-commercial demonstration project.

Carnegie is the ASX-listed inventor, owner and developer of the patented CETO wave energy technology that converts ocean swell into zero-emission renewable power and desalinated freshwater. CETO has been developed over the last 10 years, at a cost of more than £60m, culminating in the deployment and operation of the Perth Wave Energy Project, a grid connected CETO array in Western Australia. CETO is the only ocean-tested wave energy technology globally that is both fully submerged and generates power and or desalinated water onshore. The CETO technology has been independently verified by Energies Nouvelles (EDF EN) and engineering consulting firm Frazer Nash.
